Our January Networking Breakfast
January 14, 2016
Alumni from the Metro NY area gathered for our second Networking Breakfast hosted at the university's Fisher Center, Manhattan's academic space. First and foremost this breakfast is an opportunity for Syracuse University alumni to meet in a low-pressure environment before their day hectic days begin.
For the January 12th event several special guests including professors and university staff shared some insight into the programming that takes place over winter break here in New York City. Speakers included Professor Catherine Bertini who brings her United Nations Organizations – Managing for Change class to the city for a week, Professor Maria Russell who, among other programs, heads the Newhouse Executive Master's in Communications Management which is recognized as one of the best programs of its kind. Cheryl Brody Franklin, Director of the Newhouse in NYC program, and Jenna Turman, the assistant director of alumni programs for Syracuse University Career Services.
