Lubin House Event Provides Guidance to Interns
June 10, 2014
Summer is here. And while that can mean fun in the sun for many students, summer is also the time to gain invaluable experience through internships.
In partnership with Syracuse University’s Career Services office, Generation Orange NYC recently held “Making the Most of Your Internship”—a special Lubin House event to provide guidance to interns.
Panelists Sara Armet ’10, Emmelie De La Cruz ’12, Alyssa Henry ’10, G'12, Lawrence Jackson ’13, Paul Stanley ’11, and Teddy Tinson ’08 spoke to the crowd about their personal experiences navigating their way through numerous internships.
Attendees received tips to make them stand out, learned how to leverage their opportunities, and were cautioned about some of the things they should never do.
