The Palitz Gallery at Syracuse Unviersity's Lubin House hosted guests attending the most recent exhibition Rembrandt: The Consummate Etcher and other 17th century Printmakers.
Rembrandt: The Consummate Etcher and other 17th century Printmakers explores Rembrandt’s landscapes, portraits, religious and genre prints comparing them to the work of his contemporaries. This exhibition is a celebration of Louise and Bernard Palitz and their association with the Syracuse University Art Galleries. In the mid-1980s, Louise and Bernard Palitz made their first gift to the Syracuse University Art Collection and over the next 25 years, they became ardent supporters of SU and our arts programs. The exhibition of 17th century art includes prints by Rembrandt and several of his contemporaries.
