An alumnus remembered
March 2, 2011
Several University alumni clubs, along with the Office of Program Development who organized the event, gathered at Lubin House to honor the memory of Kevin "Lee" Keitt '76. Keitt , a well-known and beloved fixture in the University alumni community, was a frequent guest at the Lubin House and very active alumnus. Keitt, who passed away in 2010, had ties to The SU Posse, The SU Black Book, the Latino Alumni Network of Syracuse University, the Friends of Syracuse University and The Newhouse School Black and Latino Network (NSBLN), which he co-founded with longtime friend, Benjamin Green '85.
Keitt excelled in both his proficiency and passion for technology, primarily around computers and the Internet. In fact, he began to dabble with computers in the early 80's and never looked back. The NSBLN was the result of that passion, successfully combining it with his love of communicating and networking. Keitt will be missed by many and will forever leave his mark at SU and in the alumni community.
