College Colors Day 2013
September 16, 2013
On College Colors Day 2013, Dan Klamm and Katie Hudson of Lubin House visited offices of alumni in New York City who wanted to show off their Syracuse spirit.
College Colors Day is the annual celebration to promote the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience by encouraging fans across America to wear their favorite college or university apparel throughout the day.
The first visit was SociaLike, Inc., a social media marketing company owned by SU graduate Isaac Brody. One of his employees, Sara Cohen, is also a Syracuse graduate, class of 2013. The headquarters of SociaLike, Inc. in Midtown is decked out with Syracuse paraphernalia. Isaac and Sara were very well dressed for the College Colors Day occasion.
Second stop on the visits was Aegis Media, a worldwide media and digital communications group located near Grand Central. Dan and Katie met with SU alumni Allie Richards, Alana Parsonsa, Michael Weiss and Samantha Danzinger. Michael is extremely proud of his giant orange finger that sits very prominently on his desk.
Next was 360i, another digital agency that is crawling with Orange. Pictured below are SU graduates Meg Woods, Eric Gonzales, Lauren Silverman, Nicole Hering and Jamie Dorfman. Meg and Nicole then led Katie and Dan on a tour of the 360i offices which culminated on the rooftop terrace of their building with this stunning view of New York City.
The last stop of the College Colors Day office tour was BrandYourself, a start-up company that helps people improve their own search results and online reputation. BrandYourself, which started at SU’s Student Sandbox, is rapidly growing and loves to hire Syracuse University graduates. Pictured below with Dan and Katie are alumni Trevor Elwell, Evan Watson, Drew Speranza, Emmelie De La Cruz, Dan DiPasquale and Pete Kistler.
Thank you to all of our alumni who took time out of their busy days to show off their SU College Colors Day spirit! For more pictures visit our Facebook page.
