The Sequoia restaurant, located at the South Street Seaport in New York City, recently hosted a pre-Coming Back Together reception organized by the Office of Program Development. Coming Back Together is a reunion for Syracuse University's African-American and Latino alumni and is held every third year on campus. On one of the hottest days in July, nearly 200 alumni filled the space with camaraderie, laughter, delicious food and the sharing of memories of their time spent on campus as well as their lives and the years that followed. This was the final reception after previous stops in Miami, Atlanta, DC and LA.
