August means one thing, back to school time! It is also a right of passage, a time of transition for new students entering Syracuse University which is why SU host's its annual New Student Send-Offs.

The Send-Offs held at the Lubin House and by alumni clubs across the region, the country in fact, are designed to welcome new students in to the SU community and prepare them for life on the hill. It's an informal setting for incoming students to meet current students and alumni and ask any questions they have about what to expect on campus. What to pack? Which residence hall is the best? Where's the best food? Members of the University staff were also on hand to speak with parents and answer their last minute questions.
