    Tepper Semester

This rigorous and unique artistic training is a program of the Tepper Center for Careers, created in the College of Visual and Performing Arts by Tony Award-winning producer Arielle Tepper Madover ’94. It gives students from SU’s Department of Drama the ability to study advanced levels of acting, directing, musical theater, design, stage management, and casting in the culturally rich setting of New York City.

During the semester, students live and study in the heart of the city’s professional theater scene. They take classes at Theatre Row and other studios throughout the theater district and learn from an accomplished faculty of professional actors, directors, writers, and casting directors who nurture the students’ creative, intellectual, and personal growth. All the while, the students attend productions on and off Broadway that expose them to numerous genres of theater. Learn more...
