"Separated," Presented by OVMA and Syracuse Stage in NYC

For one night only on November 13, join Syracuse University’s Office of Veteran and Military Affairs and the Syracuse University Alumni Association for Separated.

Separated is a theatrical performance based on the personal experiences of eight Syracuse University student veterans. The performance will take place at the Paley Center for Media, an American cultural institution.

The service experience of the eight students—Nick Brincka, Halston Canty, Zack Couch, Ginger Peterman, Brandon Smith, Jake VanMarter, Zack Watson, and Kierston Whaley—includes tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. The students represent the United States Army, United States Navy, and United States Marine Corps.

The title of the performance reflects the intense experiences each student endured first in separating from home and family to join the military, and then in separating from the military to return to civilian life.

Tickets will be on sale until November 11. TICKET INFORMATION AND PURCHASE AVAILABLE AT THIS LINK
