I haven't been back to campus in a long time. Where should I go first when I arrive?
The Office of Alumni Relations welcomes all alumni back to The Hill and will provide you with maps, directions and suggestions on what you might like to see. The office is located on the third floor of the Goldstein Alumni & Faculty Center, 401 University Place (between Bird Library and Watson Hall). Stop by or contact them in advance at sualums@syr.edu or 1-800-SU-ALUMS.

How can a prospective student get information on the University?
There are many ways for prospective students to gather information on the University and its many schools and colleges. The Office of Admissions offers a variety of suggestions.

How do I make arrangements for a future SU student to visit campus?
The Admissions Office encourages the student and his/her parents to visit Syracuse University and experience a taste of campus life. Call 315-443-3611 to schedule your appointment. Transfer applicants are encouraged to call for individual appointments.

Are there other ways to meet with the admissions staff?
The staff of the University's Admissions Office is available to prospective students on campus, in New York City and in the student's local area. For further details, check out How To Meet Us

My son/daughter is applying to the University. Is admissions consideration given to family legacies?
The Admissions Committee welcomes a family tradition at the University and gives every possible consideration to the children of alumni. However, it is important that applicants meet all the admissions requirements as outlined in the application for admission. In addition, the Admissions Committee recommends that all prospective applicants have a personal interview on campus, at the Lubin House in NYC, or in other locations in metropolitan NYC.

Are there ways in which an alum can assist the Admissions Office in recruiting prospective students?
The Alumni Representative Program is a volunteer organization for recent graduates who are looking to share their experiences of and enthusiasm for their alma mater. Representatives work with the Office of Admissions to recruit prospective students at College Fairs and other activities. Are there ways for alumni to assist current students with their career selections?
Alumni may serve as mentors to current students and recent graduates as well as share their experiences in a variety of other ways. These programs are coordinated by the Center for Career Services. Once you're on the Center of Career Services site, for information on the Mentor@SU and other alumni programs in support of Career Services, click on Alumni and then Helping Current Students.

The company that I work for has employment opportunities that I think would be of interest to Syracuse's graduates. How do I let the University know about them?
Alumni wishing to offer positions to current SU students or other SU alumni can post their internships/full-time opportunities in Syracuse University's web-based recruiting program, eRecruiting . How do I request a copy of my transcript?
Transcripts of coursework completed at Syracuse University are available free of charge from the Registrar's Office on campus. Complete instructions are available on the Registrar's website.

As a Syracuse alum, am I able to host events at Lubin House?
Alumni are welcome to hold meetings or events at Lubin House. However, the events must be sponsored by an SU school or department with the main target audience being SU alumni and friends.
